This Year's Award
Announcing the 5th Annual Leica Women Foto Project Award in collaboration with Photoville. The Award welcomes applicants from the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, and Canada (excluding Québec). This year’s award celebrates the power of perspective, inviting applicants to submit a photo essay made with any make/model camera, under themes of reclamation, resilience and rebirth.
A total of four Awardees will be announced on March 8th, representing one recipient from each region. Each Awardee will receive a Leica SL2-S camera, a Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-70mm f/2.8 ASPH. lens, and a $10,000 USD cash prize, for use towards a current or future photo essay.
Applicants will be reviewed by a panel of world renowned editors, curators and contributors to the world of photography.

Terms and Conditions
The theme of this year's award is “Perspective is Power: Reclamation, Resilience, Rebirth”, expressed through the feminine perspective. Submit 10 images made between 2019 – 2022. Submissions can be made on any camera make and model. Owning a Leica camera is NOT required. Smartphone photography is NOT allowed. Applications will be judged by three categories Quality of Photography, Dedication to the Medium, and Sophistication of Project. Additional terms, conditions and application requirements apply.
