Workshop Terms & Conditions

Please review the following policies before booking a Leica Akademie workshop or event.

Booking Information

Availability

  • All workshop dates and times are subject to availability.
  • Leica reserves the right to modify pricing, schedules, instructors, locations, or workshop details.
  • Confirmation of booking constitutes agreement to all workshop terms and conditions.

Attendance Requirements

  • Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.
  • Special dietary requirements or accommodations should be communicated at the time of booking.

Health & Safety

  • Participants must be in good physical and mental health.
  • Any medical conditions or physical limitations requiring special attention must be disclosed prior to attendance.

Photography & Liability

  • Leica may photograph or record workshops and events for promotional purposes.
  • Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional material should notify their instructor prior to the workshop.
  • By attending a Leica Akademie event, participants acknowledge and accept all risks associated with participation, including personal injury, illness, property damage, or loss.

Payments & Cancellations

Payment Policy

  • Workshop fees must be paid in advance.
  • Destination and travel workshops may require additional deposits or payment schedules.
  • Full payment for destination workshops is generally due 90 days before departure.

Cancellation Policy

  • 60+ days before workshop: full refund.
  • 45 to 59 days before workshop: 80% refund.
  • 21 to 44 days before workshop: 50% refund.
  • 20 days or less before workshop: no refund.
  • Non-refundable deposits may apply to select workshops or travel events.

Workshop Changes & Travel

  • Leica Akademie reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify workshops at any time.
  • If a workshop is canceled by Leica, participants may transfer to another workshop or receive a refund for the workshop fee paid.
  • Leica Camera is not responsible for airline tickets, hotel accommodations, transportation costs, or other travel expenses related to workshop cancellations or schedule changes.
  • Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance and refundable travel accommodations when applicable.
