A workshop for novice & beginner students venturing into the world of photography. Students will be introduced to the basic technical elements of photography to get the most out of their camera.  This workshop is also a great course to take to prepare you better for the product level workshops we offer such as, Leica M10 Owners, Leica Q Owners, and Bespoke Workshops.  The fundamental topics and discussions will help you understand photography concepts & terminology in the photographic arts.  This will prepare you for advanced topics and master level workshops later down the road as you progress as a photographer.

Attendance is strictly limited to 8 participants.

Looking to get the most out of your camera? This introductory class for beginners will help you move away from your camera’s automatic modes, allowing you to harness the full potential of your gear and to further express your artistic vision. Students will learn the basics for proper exposure, focusing, and depth control, while also diving into composition techniques and tips for consistent image quality.

Through an increased understanding of your camera’s functions and options, our goal is to move you from “point-and-shoot” photography to truly “making” images in-camera and eventually onto your wall or photo album.

No previous photography experience is required.  If you are using a non-Leica camera, students must have access to a manual or have a basic understanding of how to access and change their ISO, Shutter, and Aperture prior to the workshop.

Registration for this event closes 24-hours before each class begins to solidify attendance. Please feel free to email any questions or concerns to
