    Leica PRS 5-30x Ballistic Reticle

I like this PRS scope as well as I do a Schmidt & Bender at much less money. FOV is excellent along with eye relief. This is the best glass for the money and is clean and clear at distance and all magnifications. The reticle is a cross the is not too thick for long range shooting. The turrets are easy to operate and to zero without tools, although you will need an Allen wrench, which is supplied in the turret on the windage side to set zero stop. The turret clicks are tactile and distinct like my Tangent Theta. The scope tracks accurately. The scope covers are top-of-the-line Armament Technology. The power ring is easy to turn and illumination can be used in daylight. Parallax is 25 yds to infinity and is forgiving, especially after 300 yards and farther. if I could only have two scopes, one would be a tangent theta and the other would be a Leica PRS. Kahles is not in the running and in my opinion is overpriced. NightForce ATACR is ok but the glass in the Leica is better and is very close to Tangent. I have not looked through Zero Compromise but the Dark Lord of Optics has and I will defer to his expertise. If I wanted to spend 6500 I would buy Tangent, and if I didn’t want to spend six or seven grand, I would buy another Leica PRS and be dinging steel out to 1000 yds and beyond.
