Robert LeBlanc
Robert LeBlanc is a Los Angeles-based photographer and filmmaker whose work provides unflinching, deeply human portraits of American life. Through sustained, often years-long relationships with his subjects, he earns a rare level of trust that allows him to reveal the unfiltered essence of their worlds. This vivid, unsparing practice merges documentary rigor with a surreal, almost dreamlike atmosphere.

His monograph series began with Unlawful Conduct (2015), a raw examination of life on society's edges, presented in a handcrafted, limited-edition format that sold out before release. Moon Dust (2021) immersed viewers in the high-stakes existence of wildfire fighters in Montana and California, capturing both the brutality of the flames and the quiet camaraderie that sustains the crews. GLORYLAND (2023), the result of seven years spent with West Virginia's last remaining serpent-handling congregation, documents a vanishing expression of faith with profound intimacy and reverence. ELK (2024), an experimental book and film, follows five graffiti writers on a 4,800-mile journey across America's heartland, tracing the ephemeral beauty of their marks and the transient connections forged along the way. Tin Lizards (2025) turns to the romance and melancholy of train travel, weaving documentary, poetic, and surreal imagery.

LeBlanc's GLORYLAND monograph is held in the permanent collection of the Getty Museum's Research Institute Library. In addition, his monographs are available worldwide at leading art bookstores, including MOCA Los Angeles, MoMA PS1, and the Frye Art Museum.

Matthew Taylor-Winch

Matthew Taylor-Winch is a Los Angeles-based photographer and bookdealer whose work is grounded in long-form projects built through sustained relationships and years of documentation. Born in Sydney, Australia, and based in Los Angeles for nearly a decade, his practice moves between photography, curation, and community—guided by a commitment to analog DIY craft and the enduring connections that form around books and image making.
Through his role at Leica’s West Hollywood store and gallery, Taylor-Winch occupies a unique vantage point within contemporary photography. Overseeing both the flagship space and its book acquisition program, he navigates the technical, cultural, and communal edges of the medium, cultivating an environment where image-makers and audiences can meet on shared ground.
Parallel to his own art practice in short-run artist books and bookmaking—he also operates AUTO Books, a rare-book project housed in the trunk of his 1984 Mercedes. Born from decades of collecting, the project functions as a moving curation, with each selection offering a unique mix of art and photography books many no longer available, giving audiences the opportunity to discover works that range from understated gems to elusive rare impossible to find treasures. Through AUTO Books, he has appeared at Printed Matter’s Art Book Fair, ACID-FREE Book Fair, Jeffrey Deitch Gallery, and many others, extending the project’s reach into the broader international book and art community.
Across photography, bookmaking, and independent dealing, Taylor-Winch has shaped a practice defined by deep respect for the printed image as both artifact and experience. His book work has been collected within the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Australia (NGA).
